"Send" messages hung up

Help: I have messages that I'm trying to send that are hung up. If I try to
delete, I get the message that I can't delete because it's in the middle of
transmission. Unfortunately, it's not transmitting.
Any suggestions.

I too am having sending problems. I have deleted the mails in the send folder
but everytime I try to start a manual send in the bottom right corner it says
that 4 are sending and errors that I don't understand are in the sent receive
box. Any suggestions

Click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook. Delete the
tooo-large messages from the Outbox. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.
