Send message loop

I have my yahoo account configured through Outlook - it has worked fine for
many years. Just last night a "send message loop" has started - Outlook is
constantly trying to send a message, but there are no messages in my sent
items to send. I am able to still receive messages but I can not send any
messages from Outlook (it still works fine if I send a message from the yahoo
website, so I know there isn't a problem with my email account). I have
checked all the POP3 settings and these are set correctly as well.

How can I delete any messages that are in a queue waiting to be sent?

Select File, Work Offline, close and reopen Outlook and delete anything in
the Outbox then uncheck Work Offline.

Hi,

I am having the same problem with my Outlook. I tried going offline to
delete the unsent messages from my outbox but there was nothing there to
delete. Are there any other ways to solve this problem?
