Send from group mailbox

Terry

I have a group mailbox set up in my Outlook profile (it's set up as an
additional mailbox in my profile). Therefore I have my personal email,
and this group mailbox appears as a folder in my folder list. Let's
call the group mailbox, "XX Group".

If I "Reply" to a message received from the group mailbox, a "From"
field appears and "XX Group" is listed in that field. If I send the
message, the message will appear to be from "XX Group" instead of from
me. However, if I simply open a new mail message, I don't get that
"From" field.

How can I send a new message where the group name appears instead of my
own?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Terry

The only way around this is to create an additional profile. You will then
have to toggle back and forth between profiles depending on which reply to
address you would like to use.

Hello,

just make the From field visible permanently:
(Outlook 2003) Options --> mark at FROM
(Outlook 2000/XP) View --> mark at FROM Field
If you're using WordMail as e-mail editor, click the arrow next to the
Options button.
