Send Excel File as Attachment

I am using Excel 2003. When I try to send my workbook to an e-mail recipient
using Outlook Express, the send e-mail as attachment option is grayed out
(unavailable). My only option is to send each sheet individually whihc I do
want to do. Can you tell me how to get the e-mail attachment option
working???
