Send Button Does Not Work

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003, and when I create an email and choose the send
button, it just sits in my outbox. I have to select the Send & Receive button
for it to go. I tried running a Repair, however, it still does not work. Can
anyone help?

I am having this exact same problem in Outlook 2007. Anyone know what to do?
 
I fixed it! Open Outlook, then go to Tools, then Options. In the Options
window, select the "Mail Setup" tab, and check the "Send immediately when
connected" box. And voilà!
 
Thank you for your note. I already had that set - send immediately when
connected. The problem seems to occur mostly when I am forwarding or
replying to an email. I usually just delete it and start over. Thanks again.
