Currently utilizing Outlook 2003, I was able to receive and send messages two
days ago, unfortunately I can no longer receive or send. The error message
reads;

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): The specified server was found, but
there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL
information is correct. To access these settings close this dialog, then
click more settings and click on the advanced tab.

My settings have not changed, however I still cannot send or receive email.

Have you looked at the status page on your ISP's website to confirm that the
mail server is not suffering any outages?

Ask your ISP if server settings and SSL requirements have changed. Also check
your Security Suite settings like firewalls, Zone Alarm, Norton's and
McAfee's. Disable the email checking in any of those and see if that
corrrects things.

The server is functioning fine and the SSL requirements have not changed. I
currently use Norton AntiVirus, it will not let me disable email scanning.

Then uninstall it and reinstall it without the mail integration.
