Send an original ‘Out of Office' message to one specific person on

Adnan

Dear Forum Member,

I am trying to have ‘Out of Office Assistant’ reply an Out of Office message
to a specific person upon receipt of his message. I looked at built-in rules
but couldn’t do anything.

Is there any other feature or code that does this?

Thanks for any tip or help provided,
Adnan

What happens if you create a rule for this sender and use "from people or
dl"?

Or are you trying to send a special message to one person and the generic to
all others when you are out of office?

If it is the latter, I don't think you can do this.

Q: What happens if you create a rule for this sender and use "from people or
dl"?
A: I want the default Out of Office message template to go to him, even
though I can have this done with a different tempalte, I still need the
default so that do really thinks I am out of the office, otherwise he'll be
able to tell it's a Outlook rule.

Q: Or are you trying to send a special message to one person and the generic
to all others when you are out of office?
A: Not quite sure which is generic and which is special, it's got to look
identical to the default 'Out of Office' templae. I guess this would be the
generic one, not special, but it does not go to everybody, instead, it goes
to him only.

Do appreciate your help Milly,
Adnan

Version of outlook and exchange? Did you look at the rules options in The
OOF Assistant?

Diane,

I never knew there is a rule on OOF Asst dialog box. Anyway, just tried it
and could not make it. Nothing that offers that.

Thanks for you prompt response, Diane!

Because it does not offer the template I was looking for. You can use a
template there but it looks like a regular message not like OOF message.

Do appreciate your help :)
