send an excel workbook via email -Outlook 2003 from an Access data

I would like to automate from an Access database form using a command button
a code to send an Excel workbook via Outlook 2003. Is this possible?

Currently I have a command button on a form that opens a specific Excel
workbook to the active sheet whereas to update data. After the data is
updated I would like to send the excel sheet via email to a distribution list.

You can't you a macro using the send method from Access to send an excel
spreadsheet. (I wish is were that easy...)

Does anyone know please???
