Can you be more specific? What do you mean by "work right" and what files
"need to be created?" Just what are the co-workers going to do with your
workbook?

I have a time sheet and expense report workbook with 2 buttons on it.
one names the file and saves to a specific file. the other print
selected pages. what i'm trying to do is...

when the user opens the file that i've mailed him containing th
workbook, I'd like it to "extract" to his machine, create a file in M
Documents with a name something like "time" where the sheets will b
saved. as for the print button, when thats clicked, it should print t
his default printer.

thanks for your help

Assuming the user has Excel on his system, he should be able to open your
attachment, click File | Save As to save the workbook on his computer and
click File | Print to print it.

You could create an auto open macro that would perform this task for him,
but he'd have to have his Office security settings set at the lowest
level -- not a good idea -- for it to run automatically.
