Selective page publishing

I am working on a long form page and would like to withhold publishing this
page until it is complete. I also need to change/correct other pages. I am
using FP98. How can I selectively publish only certain pages? Thanks.

This take me back so I'm sure if I remember this correctly but no I don't believe you can.

Hmm. I think fp98 did not have this function.
This is what I would do: Create the page and continue work on it as usual.
Let FP publish it, just don't create a link to it until it's finished.
As for the other pages, use file/save as and give it a new name. When
you're done, delete the original, and rename the new pages with the original
name. Recalculating insures the hlinks are updated.

I can't figure out how to not create a link. My only other option is to
create the page as a different web site and when I am done with it then copy
it to the running site. This brings up another question, can I publish 2
web sites to the same DNS, different page names of course? Unless I can
figure out how to create a page with no link I may want to use this to
isolate my form from my site. Thanks.

navigation structure.

Except for the index or default page which is the first page that displays
when you connect to a URL,
you can choose not to link ANY page. There needs to be a link to a page
somewhere to get to it.
If you are working on the index or default, then use save as and name it
index2, default2, etc. Rename them
after you've completed your work.
