Hi,

I cannot seem to find any way of changing the color of the SELECTION
RECTANGLE in Windows XP. I have tried changing the colors in Advanced
Appearance but it has not helped. I know it CAN be done however because the
Longhorn Transformation Pack does it.

How can it be done? Is there an easy way? Is there a registry entry?

Thanks.

What are you calling the Selection Triangle?

The translucent colored rectangle that is drawn when you select files in
folders.

Actually it turns out that all you need to do is to change the selection
color (for menu items, icons, etc.). It's just that I could have sworn I
had already tried that; plus it's still on my to-do list, so I'm not sure
why it's there.
