Selecting multiple Junk/Blocked Senders

V

Vishnu Benkert

I just upgraded from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003, and am
somewhat disapointed with the junk e-mail features.

I used to be able to look at my inbox, select multiple
messages (I get a lot of junk mail), and then select "Add
to Blocked Senders List". This would add all of my
selected messages to the junk senders list.

Now, in Outlook 2003, it doesn't seem like you can select
multiple messages. When you try to select more than one,
the "Add Sender to Blocked Senders List" option is grayed
out.

Is this a "feature", or am I not doing something or doing
something wrong?

Thanks.

It is a feature, and one that not many people are happy with either. Since
Outlook 2003 uses a new method for blocking senders, the old method does not
work. We (MVPs) have asked that this ability be added back to Outlook 2003.
We will see what happens as it is not as easy as just putting back a line or
2 of code.

Interesting, thanks.....

Yes, I wasn't very happy with the speed of adding
multiple senders to the "Junk Senders" list, so I
deceided to upgrade to 2003 (thinking that they would
have improved that). And now it's even worse......
