I cant seem to be able to select multiple sections of text using the CTRL key, it only lets me select one piece of text at a time. How can i fix this so that i can highlight multiple sections of text in word?

Hi Simon,

That is not possible in Word.

I believe this feature was introduced in Word 2002. What version do you
have?

I rarely use it directly but I'm constantly running up against it
inadvertently when I have text selected already and try to use Ctrl+click in
the margin to select the entire document (never got in the habit of using
Ctrl+A).
