select the operating system start

Why when I start the computer shows a message
saying "select the operating system start"
 
What are the choices. If you have multiple OS on your PC
it is supposed to do that so you can 'Select The
Operating System to Start".
 
Hi Bob,

Is there actually a choice presented, or just the message?

Start/run C:\boot.ini

It should open in notepad, copy/paste the contents into a reply.
