select names dialog box.

When I send a message, when I click to to icon to select names from my
address book, it is blank. The "show names from the:" box is blank, and I
can't choose anything or type anything there. Please help.
 
Post your Outlook version.
Post the steps you used to configure your Outlook Address Book.
 
Outlook Version 2002
I never did configure my address book, and when i try, all the fields are
blank.
I guess I have a conplete contact list, but i do not have and address book.
I don't really know the difference.

No wonder. If you don't configure the address book view, then of course you
won't see anything. Configure it. Instructions abound in help files and the
KB:
