I'm trying to get an XP system to default to a particular wireless network.

When the system comes up, it sees three or four networks. It seems to randomly
select one of them to connect to. I want it to connect to only a specific one
(ours) of the three or four. I can do that manually after start up, and it'll
say where I put it until it's rebooted. Is there way to get it to remember
which one I want it to connect to permanently?

1-Turn on your computer
2– by the clock you will see the icon of the wireless network connection –
double click here
3– a wireless network connection status windows open – hit properties
4– hit wireless network tab
5-select your network and move up
6-with your network selected hit properties, go to connection and check the
box “Connect when this network is in range, go out with Ok (one time)
7-select the undesire network and select properties – connetion - and
uncheck the the box “Connect when this network is in range"(do this step as
many undesire networks you want to set)
6-go out with ok

Thanks. I was looking for something like "Use this network by default" and
thought I just hadn't hit upon the right place.
