I'm using a form with fields, and what i'm wanting to do is be able to select
all of the fields at once to change font or size, without changing the whole
document. I've learned here about the format painter, but still a lot of
fields to click on, it'd be much easier to be able to select all the fields
at once, JUST the fields.

thanks a bunch!

No, you can't do that. What you can do, though, is define a character
style and apply it to all the fields. To change the size or other font
formatting, you modify the definition of the style, and all the places
that have the style will change immediately.

Jay, thanks so much, now all i gotta do if figure out how to define a
character style... do i have to do that when i create the form???

thanks again jay

Same to you! We're starting 2008 with a predicted hard freeze here. <shiver>
