Hi All

Every few hours my computer suddenly starts to freeze. When I click on Word
(or any app) in the taskbar it takes a minute to actually appears, and when
a click on the "File" option in Word to exit it, it also takes about a
minute (for each action).

a) This wasn't a problem initially (a few months ago)... so it is the same
hardware.
b) I have update AVG and did a complete virus-scan

The only thing that works is to re-boot, but now it seems as the situation
has worsened... I am loosing ALL my fonts, except for "Device Font 10cpi",
"Device Font 12cpi" and "Device Font 17cpi". The only thing, currently, that
I have to do to get my fonts back is to re-install Windows. I am NOT sure if
these two problems are related.

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks
Anton

Are those the only two things effects? Does everythins else respond
like normal?

Run a complete scandisk session. When a hard drive starts to go
corrupt, it can cause these symptoms.
