Security Woes

I am the only user of my computer and I sign in as an administrator. Often
Vista will not let me move or open a file even through I created it. Instead
I first have to go into the security tab under properties and give myself
permission. In my situation this is silly, tedious and a waste of time. I
would greatly appreciate hearing how to avoid this extra work. Thanks1

Hi,

If you are working with files that are in designated system folders then
this would be normal. The solution is to not use system folders for your
personal stuff. These include both the \Windows and \Program Files trees.
Users should work within either their own user data folders, the shared
directories, or data folders of their own creation on the system root.
