UAC invoked when moving files on external drive

I have an external drive that will not let me save downloads, delete files
or move them without getting UAC. I have 2 other that give me no problems. I
have administrative and full write permissions in the properties security
tab. It only seems to happen on this one 500GB drive. Please, Anyone have a
clue where to look?
TIA~ Ray

Give full write NTFS permissions to your user account on the external drive,
not just for Admin. UAC is elevating to Admin to write, as your user
account has not got permission. Your user account is not actually an admin
level account. MS did this as a lot of less experienced people ran as admin
all the time, on XP, and got malware as a result.
