security updates

I have been notified of some some security alerts /
patches namely for VBA script, Access snapshot and Macros
in Word. When trying to install the patches, I get a
message saying that the expected program could not be
found (the patch for the NETBIOS vulnerability installed
okay). Even trying SP1 for Office XP gave the same error.
I am running Office XP professional.Are these updates /
vulnerabilities applicable to all versions of Office XP
or just certain ones.

Is my version safe (hence it doesn't need the patch)or am
I experiencing a problem downloading something that I
need?

best quality products.And to do that they come out with
critical updates or patches to provide users hazard free
computing.
critical updates; specially security updates are must.You
can easily install those ones.
