Security Updates ??

Each time I boot up I'm given a notice to install
a "Security" update #329834 ( - unchecked buffer?). I
opt to "install", it does install but then the next day
when I boot up it's again asking me whether I want it
installed? This has been going on for more at least 10
days.

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.
