Security Update July 8th problem after install

After installing security update of 8th July 2008 on two computers running XP
SP2 I was unable to access the internet. (DNS problem??). I did a system
restore to my pre update state and all is now working again. Any ideas?

Turns out to be a problem between XP and Zone Alarm. See Zone Alarm web site
for much more info.
