Security Template change prohibited as an admin

Hi, I am logged to one of the office Windows XP wks as the
local administrator. I ran the gpedit.msc and I want to
change the Interactive Logono not display last user name
under Security options, but the disable/enble options are
both grayed out. Anyone has an idea what is prohibitting
me from making that change?

No clue, but you can make the change manually.

Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system

Locate "dontdisplaylastusername". Double click it and set its value to 1.
