Security Tab in Properties

Having certain access problems with one of four peer-to-
peer machines. The offending machine has "Security" tab
next to Sharing tab under Properties, and book says
Security tab won't be there unless set up on a domain. We
have no domain, have repeatedly selected "No domain" in
Network ID to no avail. Set up all four machines
identically otherwise. Have reinstalled XP Pro, still no
help. Thanks.
 
The security tab is on ever XP Pro install when "Simple File Sharing" is turn OFF. Turn on SFS and
the tab will be gone.
