I have a Pioneer DVD-S606 DVD recorder. I would like to be able to put a
password on my DVD's for privacy. Is there any technique within Windows XP
or is there any software that will allow me to do this? TIA.

As far as DVDs or CDs, they can be read by any drive, but
you can encrypt the files that are burned and that is the
best you can do. But just as Hollywood blockbusters are
hacked, so can your encrypted files.

The only way i can think of doing it is with a program like WinZip. Zip the
file and password protect it.
