Here's my problem
I have a computer that is directly connected to the internet and I have a shared folder on that computer. This computer is not part of a domain. The purpose of the computer is to have someone remotely access the computer to do a certain task. I've used TCP filtering to shut down all ports except for TCP 139 and 3389 and UDP 137 and 138. These ports are open to allow Remote Desktop Connection and transferring of files. My goal is to use a different computer (which is part of a domain) to pull files off the first computer however I would like the shared folder to be accessed using logon and password. When I connected to the shared folder, its goes to the shared folder without prompting for logon and password. When right-clicking on the folder being shared, i noticed there was no security tab which i thought was curious because the file system is NTFS. Any suggestions as to how I can make this work would be very helpful
Thank
Anthony
