Security Patch Updates again and again

For some reason Microsoft's automatic updater is not
recognizing the last 2 Security Patches issued. They've
been downloaded every day since they were issued and
still remain unrecognizable. I tried renaming the
CatRoot folder in windows>system32 as suggested last time
I posted this problem. Anyone have any other ideas?

I am having the same problem with a critical update from the Windows Update site. Every time I use the program, the resulting reply is that I need to install "Windows Media Scripting addition". I have installed this 5 times, but I still ge the same message when I go to the update site

I don't know what to do

Just sharing a thought
