My realtor sent me an e-mail with several houses to look
at. When I open it and click on the link, I can view the
listings. When I click on the details for any of the
houses, I get a message saying "This page cannot be
displayed because of security concerns.

Please contact the vendor of your security software to
determine how to allow HTTP_REFERER to be passed to
remote sites.
[No referring document: @216.228.163.41]

Another realtor e-mailed me some listings and I had no
trouble at all.

Occaisionally I have run into this same message on web
sites while trying to view listings (I'm running Windows
XP Pro) so it appears to be something in the settings.

I've tried adding the site to my trusted zone but that
doesn't help. I have my Internet security settings on
Medium.

I have Norton System Works and firewall on my computer.

Check these out.

INFO: Internet Explorer Does Not Send Referer Header in Unsecured Situations
When linking from one document to another in Internet Explorer 4.0 and
later, the HTTP Referer header will not be sent when the referer is a
non-HTTP (or non-HTTPS) page. The Referer header will also not be sent when
linking from an HTTPS page to a non-HTTPS page.

Error: Object Expected - Images won't load
My problem is with I.E. 6 and Norton Internet Security, where some images on
a page load and others don't. All are available if you persist in clicking
"show picture" for each image.
It seems that Patch 4.03 for Norton Internet Security causes images loaded
from another server to be blocked by default - HTTP-REFERRER auto-block -
and must be enabled on a SITE BY SITE basis!!! Surely there is another
solution?
