Security Lock on Bottom Toolbar

I've used www.proxyvote.com/ for years with no problem. But recently, I get
the "lock Icon" SSL Secured (128 bit) which seems to prevent me from opening
reading material listed on the site. The window opens with a "nasty musical
chord" and then shuts down. Any help will be appreciated. Thanx, bobg

Can't check out that site, because the URL given automatically redirects to
a sign-in page -
https://central.proxyvote.com/PVWeb/logon.do - for me, at least. (Note the
https:// in the URL here - so I would suppose everything on the other side
of the log-in is https:// as well.) I note the link to Adobe Acrobat reader
at the bottom of the page, and that makes me think that lots of articles on
that site are PDF files. Could be a problem with AR? Update or reinstall AR
may do the trick for you -
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html - if your "reading
materials" are PDF files.

Thanx Jon. I removed Adobe 7, and installed Adobe 8 and it's working fine
now. Very much appreciated. Thanx again. bobg
