My main computer linked to spare PC by dongle. Will the spare PC
be secured by the anti virus etc., software in the main PC or do I
require a separate program and if so could I have suggestions
regarding software, please? TIA

Each individual Windows machine needs an antivirus and a firewall.
Recommended antivirus programs are NOD32 (commercial), Avast (free version
available), or Avira (free version available). The built-in Windows Firewall
is fine for most people.

Thank you Malke. I'll fix that before use.
