I have tried posting this message in outlook express news group, but I
havent had any repsonse yet.
Please help..
In outlook epress I have a tick in the box in tools/options/security... do
not allow
attachments to be opened or saved that could be potentially be a virus. But
today I can open and save attachments. How do I make the security feature
work again?
It used to work for me a few days ago, I dont know what I have done for it
not to work.
Many thanks for any help

Well you certainly didn't post it in the OE6 newsgroup......

I did but maybe its not the same one as you have. The one i posted it into
is.. microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.outlookexpress.
What is the name of the news group that I should have posted it in?
So can you help me anyway? ...Please?

I've just done a search in that group on your name and it came up with
zilch........

look again its the top one, and it was posted at 21.19. (GMT)
Will you help me? Please?

*The* OE6-specific newsgroup on the MS newsserver is

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

and *not*

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.outlookexpress

[ 'underscore', not 'period' ]

Some other newsservers continue to propagate the latter erroneously. The
former is quite active.
