security error1747

event viewer,security,error code1747,ipsec failed to
initialize. authintication unknown. I think I need my
ipsec filter.was instructed to run ipsec monitor plugin.
can someone please help me? thanks in advance. Jack

Jack,

I had this error a few months ago when I was trying to set up a VPN
connection which is what I imagine you are trying to do. It was
actually because one of the machines involved had a fixed IP address.
