security defauts a problem...help

i recently updated my windows 2000 programs for additional
security, but now can't seem to be able to get into any
site that needs a password (ie amazon or banking sites).
tried to change the defaults on explorer, but every time i
open a new page, they go back to the high security
defaults. any suggestions? thanks

Hard to say without knowing what you did. You could try adding those sites to your
"trusted" Web Content Zone to see if they will work there. See the link below for
help on doing such and set the security to default level for that zone. -- Steve
