security center not working

Upgraded a SP1 system in a Win2k native domain to SP2. Client had
Trend Officescan 6.5 installed (which is supposed to be SP2
compliant).

Noticed it wasn't registering it in Security Center.

I only have 3 icons in Security Center, Firewall, Internet Options and
Automatic Updates.

Found the following in the Application Event Log:

'Event ID: 1807
The Security Center service has been stopped. It was prevented from
running by a software group policy'

We've enabled very few GP settings in our domain, and haven't
installed the updated SP2 ADM files yet.

Anyone else seen this? Ideas on where to go from here?

Actually it does work.....it's just by default a Win2k native domain
prevents security from running properly. In order to get it to work in
a domain I had to do the following:

- Install hotfix (call PSS) 842933
- Install updated XP SP2 adm files on domain controllers
- Enable the Security Center in Group Policy

Nice that MS publishes this in the SP2 release notes.
