Security Center/Active Firewall

I completely cleaned out any McAfee software out of my system, but it
continues to show Personal Firewall Plus as my active firewall protection in
Windows Security Center. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply, but I've done that. Anything that looks like McAfee in
the registry is gone. Any other ideas?

remove any entries with the name "mcaffee" in the registry and delete any
mcaffee folders in common files and application data folders

I have the same problem with Bitdefender firewall. I remove everything i
could and winidows still see bitdefender firewall as enabled. Maybe someone
knows where windows keep information about all firewalls in a system?
