Security Alert Pop-Ups Everytime I Visit a Site

R

Rick

I just started having this problem out of the blue, but
every time I go to a website, I keep getting multiple pop-
up windows stating the following:

"Security Alert:
Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed
or changed by others. However, there is a problem with
the site's security certificate.

O The security certificate is from a trusted certifying
authority

X THE SECURITY CERTIFICATE HAS EXPIRED OR IS NOT YET VALID

O The security certificate has a valid name matching the
name of the page you are trying to view."

It's the middle point (marked with X) that seems to be
the issue. How do I fix these? These pop-ups are
driving me crazy and making almost impossible to browse
the internet. Your help is appreciated.

In response to my previous posting, I have figured out
what was causing the problem. Somehow the year on my
system was reset to Jan 2002. As soon as I fixed that
everything was fine.
