Security Agent Problems

K

Keith

I had this installed but had to uninstall it while trying to track a
problem.

The problem was not part of AntiSpyware so I reinstalled.

However, now I have problems with the Security Agents.

When I goto the Security Agents Summary it ssays there are 18 Agents Active
(there were 25 before).

Also, It says Internet Agents are Active, but when I click on it, it says
Inactive and will not let me activate it.

None of the agents show any Check Points, and before uninstall they did.

I have tried a manual uninstall clearing every reference from the registry
and file system before rebooting and reinstalling.

However, still this is a problem.

Any advice anyone?

My Win XP Home installation is similar. I have no
security agents - I can only see the help info. The left
pane is a blank where the various security agents should
appear. I know this because the security agents appeared
and work well (great feature!) on another machine running
Win2K. Incidently both were installed from the same
download. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the XP setup
twice including a complete registry clean on the second
reinstall. Still no security agents.

I have installed on another machine also and it works fine.

Don't know what has happened but it would be great if anyone knew how to fix
it.

Thanks
