One method that hasn't been mentioned and cannot be blocked is a screen
capture with Paint Shop Pro or their ilk.

What's really amazing is people want to put their family valuables on a
street corner and expect them to be left alone. The Web, by definition, is
a public place.

I love the fact that (Windows PC's in gerneral) haven't been tightly
programmed like DVD players with their "Operation not possible at this
time" functions. But that's another rant. :)

Cheers!

By the way, your lament is also shared by the TV and Movie industry. If
you own a VCR or Tivo, you're on our side of the street. Your argument has
also been made for cameras, et. al.

Wolfie - interesting comments......

a) Putting family values on the street corner.... (lol). Well the
internet has become a tool for sharing / communicating with close friends and
families. And when personal web sites are generated there are personal....
and not for others to take information. Hence am some what surprised that
there are no html codes to protect these where as there are large number of
codes available to dump unwanted info on your pc when you connect to the
internet.... (just my thoughts on the subject).
b) I have used the options mentioned by the folks here…. Given I am using
the FrontPage built in tool to generate albums there are no “image†tag per
say. Have added the JavaScript as well as the <META
HTTP-EQUIV="imagetoolbar" CONTENT="no"> tag.

I could not use the suggestion made by Bob L as there are no “image tag on
my web pages.

Lets see whether there are other interesting ways…… thanks - Karthi

There are many service available for sharing photos with family and friend that require a login to
access. Such as MSN, Yahoo, FujiFilm and other digital camera makers, etc. or you can create
password protected site.

Why didn't you say that to start with. Just password protect the whole site
and give all your "close friends and families" the password??

As an example, here is a site under construction:
