We have a customer that uses GroupWise and Outlook Express for email
clients. They have asked that we secure all our emails to them. We have
Windows 2003 SBS Premium Edition that includes Exchange Server which handles
all our emails. All of our users are running Outlook 2003 clients for
internal and external emails.

What are my options? We don't want to secure all our emails to all
destinations at this point. Only the ones to this customer that contains
sensitive information in the body of the email and also attachments.

Thanks,

Obtaining digital certificates from Certification Authorities like VeriSign
or Thawte and using public key encryption is what we did. Both sender and
recipient must have digital certificates. I know Outlook and Outlook
Express both can use them, but I have no experience with GroupWise. I'd be
surprised if it didn't support them.
