Securing a W2K CA's Private Key in Software

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me exactly where a W2K CA's Private Key is stored when you chose to store it in sotfware. Also wondering if there are any suggestions on how best to secure it on an Enterprise Subordinate CA?

Thanks,

Frank

CA's private key would be stored in the same place as any other machine
keys. For example %systemdrive%\document and settings\all users\application
data\microsoft\crypto\rsa\machinekeys
You should read PKI operational guide for securing your machine.

Thanks,
