AH! Great, thanks guys...yeah it's the CP version menu.
There is a sub-web but I wanna dump it because the sub is not needed and secondly because dealing with a subweb makes me crazy.

| The trick to protecting pages on an Apache/UNIX
| is doing it via the web masters control panel ( if available )
| If it's the CPanel version....
| Go to Access Menu > Web Protect and select
| the folder you want protected.
| It doesn't have to be a Sub Web.
| It can be any normal folder.

| | Thomas,
|
| I have a question along the same lines as well.
|
| I've never understood the problem/conflict with using FP secure pages on
| Apache/Linux server. I've run into this with a couple of virtual server
| providers. They usually say something like...don't use the FP secure page
| feature, but never explain why OR how to achieve a secure page. They
| disallow FP secure page use.
|
| Soooo...how is it done?

|
|
| | | The host must give your account permissions to set unique permissions,
| then
| | you would create subweb on the server, then open the subweb in FP, then if
| | you have the correct permissions, you will be able to set unique
| permissions
| | for the subweb.
