Secure a 2nd Internal Hard Drive

Guest

I want to purchase a second internal hard drive for imaging and backup purposes. Is there anyway in Windows XP Pro to deactivate or disconnect the drive so it will not be vulnerable to attacks when I'm on the internet.

Thanks.

Right click My Computer, select Manage. Select Disk Management and remove the drive letter assigned. When you need to create or restore a backup, repeat the process but assign it a drive letter.
