Section numbers in TOC

Hi,

how would I put section numbers into my table of contents instead of page
numbers?

I'm not sure this is easily possible.

For a start, look up the TOC field in your offline help, and read up on
what all the various switches offer. There is one to omit page numbers
-- then you get nothing. You could reference your section titles in the
TOC, which would give you titles in between the other headings.

OTOH, you can include a heading number in your page numbers directly,
then the TOC will reflect that (1-1, 1-2, ...).
