Second Level Data Cache

While changing a registry setting, suggested on "Kelly's Korner", I noticed
a dword "SecondLevelDataCache" with its setting "0" (disabled).
I have an AMD chip with a 1024kb L2. Would I gain anything by enabling
this setting ?? TIA as always.
