Hi

Can anyone help. I'm trying to setup a second LAN connection on a computer
that connects both to my network, and another that uses a different IP
range. I have used adavnced settings to setup the secont set of IP's, and
gateway - no problem there, but every time the user reconnects back to his
own network, XP chooses the wrong connection.

The easiest solution would be to set up a 2nd LAN connection so that one can
be disabled, and the appropriat one enabled, but XP doesn't seem to allow a
second LAN connection unless you have 2 network cards???

Thanks

I suppose when you write "wrong connection" you mean the
wrong set of IP settings.

How should Windows know which is the "right" connection and
which one is the "wrong" one?
