searching on internet header for IP address

Frank

Hello,

In Outlook 10 (2002) I've this folder with 900+ msg from a group which
I'm a member of.

A member from this group is very strongly expected to be sending virus
e-mails. From the message header I know the ISP and the (static) IP
address.
The membership of this group is 99% confirmed by the kind of spoofed
From addresses.

In Outlook, how can I search in a folder,
in the messages the email or internet header,
for an IP address to be able to identify the sender and notify him (or
her)????

Thanks in advance.

Regards from The Netherlands,

Frank

Do you mean you're getting virus messages from this sender, or that purport
to be from this sender? Note that most mail-borne viruses spoof the sender.

Not sure what you mean....

I don't think you can search through headers. If you receive something that
purports to be from the sender in question, and has a virus, look at its
headers manually....

This was also posted and works fine, use a rule in a local folder.

Gr,

use a rule... choose header contains and the ip. either flag it or copy it
another folder. use run now on the folder.
