Does anyone know of a resource where I can find out how to search multiple
word docs from a single application... perhaps a VB6 app.

The purpose is to improve our helpdesk and we have many solutions as
separate word docs.

Thanks,
Shannon

Check the vba FAQ at the Word FAQ site (below) and look for the macro to
replace all instances of something in all files in a given folder. That
could be a starting place.

Otherwise, if you have FrontPage and save your docs as HTML, FP has a very
good site-wide search capability.

Finally, look into the free Google desktop search engine which you could
restrict to a certain folder, I think. This would certainly be the most
powerful.
