searching limits?

Is there a limit to the number of worksheets you can
search through for a text string? I have a text string
that I can find if I highlight four tabs within my
worksheet, including the one which has the string. But
when I select 5 tabs(including the one with the string) it
doesnt find anything. I have had this problem, but never
realized that it may be an excel limit? Any help would be
appreciated.

If you are using Excel 2002 then simply do Edit / Find / Options / Change 'Within Sheet'
dropdown to 'Within Workbook'

Prior to 2002, you could try downloading Jan Karel Pieterse's FLEXFIND addin for Excel, that
will allow you to do this easily.
