History of what?

For Internet Explorer from View>Explorer Bar>History or you may even
have a History icon on the toolbar.

For things that happened on your system, look at the Event Viewer:
Start>Run>eventvwr.msc [enter]

For Windows Updates done, go to Add/Remove Programs and check the box
that says "Show Updates".
